Silk Road Antique Coins Exhibition
丝绸之路古国钱币展

Henan Coins Museum holds an antique coins exhibition with 128 coins from more than 90 ancient countries along the Silk Road on display. They represent the history of economic integration and cultural openness of countries along the ancient trade road for thousands of years. This is the first time that Henan holds such kind of exhibition and all exhibits are brought from several museums in Beijing and Xi’an and private collection institutions. They were all unearthed in China, which manifests that China has always been an open and inclusive country since the ancient times. Among the coins, gold coins of Abbasid Dynasty are unearthed in Luoyang.
来自90多个丝绸之路沿线古国的128枚精品钱币集中亮相河南钱币博物馆，您去看了吗？这些古老货币再现了千百年来丝绸之路沿线国家经济融合、文化开放的历史。这是河南省首次举行丝绸之路沿线古国钱币展览，展品借自于西安、北京等多个博物馆和私人收藏机构，全部在国内出土，印证了中国自古就是一个开放、包容的国度。其中，阿巴斯王朝金币于洛阳出土。
Ancient countries from East Asia were influenced by Chinese culture deeply, which can be seen from their coins-round outside and square inside, the shape of Chinese coins, indicating the rigor and harmony of oriental culture. Meanwhile, ancient coins of West Asia and Europe have various shapes and were made according to different standards, which demonstrates the free and unrestrained mind in western culture. With different cultures and economic level though, countries along the ancient trade road could freely trade with and trust each other in culture, therefore, the ancient Silk Road formed and lasted for thousands of years and created splendid culture.
参展的货币中，东亚古国受中国文化影响深远，货币外圆内方，表现出东方文化严谨和统一的一面。西亚、欧洲等古国的货币外形多变，标准不一，表现出西方文化自由奔放的一面。虽然文化相差甚远，经济水平各不相同，但沿线国家却可以在经贸上自由往来，在文化上相互信任，成就了辉煌的古代丝绸之路。

Drama: The Grand Mansion Gate
话剧《大宅门》
Bai Jingqi, more than 90 years old, hobbles in the yard holding a lantern in hand, and makes a routine patrol as he did in the past decades. Now, the Baicao Pharmacy, founded by forefathers and flourished through his efforts, is going to collapse. The family quarrels with each other again and attempts to grab the properties. All these changes make him think a lot and mixed feelings overwhelm him. His thoughts are like a boat drifting in the thick fog and he recalls his rough and hard life journey to guard the family and start his career and his beloved women…The plots in the Grand Mansion Gate integrate history and realities telling a legendary story about society, life and fickleness of human nature. The drama is directed by Guo Baochang, who is also the director of TV series. You may go to the theater to watch the drama and compare the differences between the TV and the drama versions.

Deyunshe Guo Degang &Yu Qian 2018 National Tour, Zhengzhou
德云社 郭德纲•于谦2018全国巡演郑州站
Xiangsheng, known also as cross-talk, is a traditional comedic performing art with a long history in China, made up of four classic skills: speaking, imitating, teasing and singing. It’s reported that, cross-talk actors Guo Degang and Yu Qian will lead the famous Xiangsheng troupe in China, Deyunshe, to stage performance in the UK. Their UK debut will be made at the famous talk show theater, Hammersmith Apollo. Back to 2011, Deyunshe has been to Australia for the oversea performance for the first time and got warm response from the audience. After that, the cross-talk troupe gave shows in Canada, U.S., Germany, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore and other countries and areas successively. Every show was successful and the theater was full of audiences.
传承已久的相声，是一种民间说唱曲艺，以说、学、逗、唱为表现形式。据悉，相声演员郭德纲、于谦将率中国著名相声团体德云社到英国演出，首演地点为伦敦著名的脱口秀剧场汉默史密斯阿波罗剧场。早在2011年，德云社就曾到澳大利亚进行海外首演，反响热烈。此后，又先后在加拿大、美国、德国、新西兰、日本、新加坡等地演出，场场爆满。

Kopelman Trio Chamber Music Concert
科佩尔曼大师三重奏室内乐音乐会
The talented violinist Kopelman has played first violin in the Borodin Quartet and in the Tokyo String Quartet for decades that all are international famous string quartets and he is the soul figure of many international chamber music orchestras. The cellist Yosif Feigelson was born in a musical family and he is the winner of the Tchaikovsky International Competition and International Bach Competition and other important international music competitions.

世界著名近台魔术大师展演
Magic is like a Pandoro’s box. How many secrets are hidden in it? The shows of magicians reveal one and another “secrets” to the audience. On August 19, the worldwide famous close-up magic master Miguel Puga will present a show in Zhengzhou. He has won the champion of poker magic competition in the Magic Convention of International Magic Union held in Span in 2003. The award of this competition is pursued by all magicians of close-up magic in the world.
